Melati has recently returned from the 2010 Veterinary Orthopedic Society meeting in Colorado, USA and will share key developments that will impact both primary care practice and referral approaches to cruciate repair. Key points will include the arguments for and against TPLO and TTA, an introduction to the new Tightrope technique, practical tips for evaluating and treating meniscal injury and the use of stifle arthroscopy in cruciate cases.
Michelle will discuss recent advances in physiotherapy management of cruciate disease including new options for custom manufacture of stifle braces; an option not previously available in Australia. Michelle will also review current best-practise techniques in postoperative physiotherapy management for use in your own clinics.
