GE Dash Range Patient Monitors Installed

The Southern Animal Emergency Centre has recently completed the installation and testing of a range of new patient care monitors to upgrade its emergency and critical care patient monitoring capabilities. These monitors are the same as those installed in some large human ICUs across Australia and offer an extremely comprehensive range of patient monitoring parameters.

GE patient monitors from the Dash™ range have been purchased as part of a larger ongoing plan to integrate patient monitoring and recording of vital signs. Monitors provide a full range of basic monitoring capabilities as well as more advanced options such as arterial and central venous blood pressure parameters. All monitors are also capnograph equipped. All monitors can be controlled and observed remotely from central monitoring stations which are being investigated as part of a second stage of integration.
