Free cadaver lecture on fracture repair techniques for primary care veterinarians on Wednesday 10th January 2007.

In this lecture, Charles will demonstrate humeral, radial, femoral and tibial fracture repair using pins, wires and external skeletal fixators. He will review fracture forces including bending, rotation, compression, distraction and shear, and will show how to neutralize these forces without the use of plates or screws. He will radiograph the fracture repairs and review critical evaluation of postoperative x-rays using our computerised radiography system with LCD projection.
