Emergency Service Now 24 hours

The Southern Animal Emergency Centre is proud to announce the commencement of a dedicated 24 hour emergency and critical care service. For some time now veterinary staff have been present at all times of the day but have had their duties shared between more than one department. We are pleased to inform referring vets that a dedicated emergency veterinarian will now be available to accept cases during the hours of 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, as well during traditional out-of-hours times.

The move to a more comprehensive 24 hour service will further improve the service for emergency and critical care patients and provide further flexibility to referring veterinarians. During standard business hours the emergency and critical care service will accept patients by veterinary referral only. All owners will be directed to their general veterinarian if available during this time.
