Amott, Robert

Dr 'Bob' Amott is a senior veterinarian at the Southern Animal Emergency Centre.

Thanks to a long career in general vet practice, Bob brings with him a solid background of both medical and surgical experience which he has honed in emergency medicine.

Bob has over 30 years experience in small animal medicine and has been a principal veterinarian and co-owner at the Warragul Veterinary Clinic, during which time he helped build the practice to be the largest small animal vet clinic in West Gippsland, Victoria.

Bob has worked in several of large clinics in metropolitan Melbourne prior to commencing his role as senior veterinarian at the Southern Animal Emergency Centre in 2003. Bob is one of the founding personnel at the Centre.

Bob is married to Helen Amott, another of the senior veterinarians at the Centre.
